First of all I would like to apologize for all of the confusion. We have made changes for this week and made a last minute change for chapel. I want to thank you for your patience and understanding. Please continue to work with us as we work with ya'll to make this successful for each student.

FRIDAY CHAPEL 10:00 a.m.

All middle school and high school students will log into Zoom in their first period class. Each teacher will play the video so that we can all do chapel together. You will then have a small group time and prayer.  Amazing how technology has become vital in helping us to be together.

Happy Monday!! NEW SCHEDULE

Hello LCS Family,

I cannot tell you how proud I am of all my students and parents! You guys are amazing!!

We are ending this quarter with a bang.  There have been changes for your students, some having to adjust quickly to new teachers and being quarantined to top it off. I personally want to thank you for your patience with me as I adjust to my new classes and this new schedule the world of virtual school.  A couple of things that I have been reminded of this week,  God is still on the throne! He has not surrendered His authority or Lordship!!  I needed to be reminded to SLOW DOWN and enjoy my company with Him. Read His word! Bask in it!! That time with Him is so sweet and wonderful!! Second we are NEVER too old to learn something new. Who would have ever thought that I would spend my 45th birthday learning how to teach virtually! I am scared to death and feel quite silly at times, but how amazing that we can do this and not lose school days! I miss my students terribly! I love seeing your faces on zoom. Parents it has also been cool for you to be a part of our classrooms.

There is a new schedule this week. Last week what we tried worked well, but we have found ways to improve what will for now be our normal. Students and parents please make note of this!!

Well my first day online was NOT successful! However, tomorrow is a NEW day!! His mercies are new every morning!!

Patience Please!

I want to thank you in advance for being patient with me.

We decided that Bible would be taught everyday.  Monday and Wednesday will be devotions and reflection. Tuesday and Thursday's will be lessons. Some lessons will be on your own and some will be through zoom. I will let you know ahead of time what we will be doing.

For all classes tomorrow Wednesday 3/18/2020 We will practice logging into zoom, communicating and online etiquette.

We will have chapel after lunch. I will post the link on this blog.  I will edit this post to include it.
We will start lessons on Thursdays.

Thursday's lesson's will be posted in google classroom for 10-12th Bible.
7th grade we will all log into zoom at our given time.

I hope that all of you are ready for this crazy ride. I am so nervous!  😟

I hold tight to the fact that I  can do all things through Christ! He is not taken by surprise by all of this.

CHANGE

Good Afternoon Students and Parents,


Change is hard! Over the last week many students experienced change with classes and teachers. And now here we are changing how we do school. I am very excited for our students to have the opportunity to learn how to navigate a classroom online. I am also excited for our staff to learn as well. We may fail at times and that is okay. Together we can do this.

As most of you know secondary classes have a schedule for when they will do each class. Bible is the only class that we will do everyday.  On the next blog post I will be posting links and times for each class. I ask that students and parents be patient as I am learning how to use google classroom and zoom.

Remember that although this is scary God is still in control. He has not surrendered His authority! Take this time with your families to pray, read God's word, worship, play games, watch movies and love each other.
