Discount Cards

 Hello Parents,

I am really HORRIBLE at updating this. I will be making it a priority to keep this up to date every week. I am very sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

All Bible classes are going extremely well. As a teacher it is so exciting to see light bulbs come on. It is even more exciting when you get to see the light bulbs come on in a spiritual sense. Each class has been learning to understand what makes up our world view. We spend a lot of time understanding what the Bible teaches and why it is important to know it, as well as how it applies to our life. My high school kids have been digging deep to learn how we should study the Bible. Ask them how!! This sparks some really great discussions. I am always available to help a student with work or make up tests. Please encourage your student to communicate with me if he or she is struggling.  We have an amazing new program to help keep all of our students on track.

Reminder for ALL virtual students. You MUST have your camera on to be counted present. There are no exceptions to this rule. Students who leave after attendance will also be counted absent. Please make sure that your student knows to check office teams for all assignment. Students are responsible for turning assignments in on time. Being in class is paramount to Bible class. Our learning is dependent on the discussion that go on in the classroom. In order to be a successful virtual student one must take responsibility. I want nothing more than to see my students succeed.

DISCOUNT CARDS are here!!! YAY   Middle/High school students will receive their forms in their home rooms. Please fill out this form and return to the school and we will send cards home with your student. This is a fun and exciting fundraiser for our school. When your student sells 10 cards and turns the money into Mrs. Berndt in the office by October 30th they will receive a free treat from Pelicans.

I hope that you guys have a wonderful week!

God Bless,

Mrs. Williams

WHEW! Thank Goodness for Three Day Weekends!

 Good Evening Parents!

We are off to a great start. But we are all exhausted! I pray that you and your family will find time to rest and relax this weekend. I do not have a lot of information this week.

For virtual students....Please make sure that you are logging in when you are at home. If you do not log-in to Microsoft teams then you are marked absent for that day. You are still responsible to make up the work. I can't always respond when you ask questions through chat in the middle of class. Unlike when we were at home, I am in class with students so I am not always in front of the computer screen. I will try and respond as soon as possible.

Parents, any time that you have questions or concerns about virtual class please feel free to reach out to me.

This week we have studied the worldview of other religions. We broke them down and looked at how they compare and contrast from each other. High School students took it a step further and researched scripture to prove or disprove certain points and aspects of each religion. They are finishing up a project comparing what the Bible says about key truths compared to what society says. They have chosen the topics themselves and as a class, we see just how much the Lord loves us by what His Word is teaching us!

God Bless and enjoy your weekend.
