End of Quarter, Start of the BUSY CHRISTMAS SEASON!

Choir

Lower Elementary has been busy learning our Christmas music. Mark your calendar's for December 16, 2019. We have also been learning new songs for our special chapels coming up. Students are learning to count beats, rhythm and reading base line music notes. We also are exploring the message behind the songs that we sing. Music is a great opportunity to talk to your students about a variety of topics. Next time you are in the car listening to music talk about the message that the artist is sending.

Upper Elementary is following Lower Elementary.  We have begun practice on our Christmas musical. Mark your calendar's for December 17, 2019. Scripts will be given out on Monday. A rehearsal schedule will be attached. Thank you for patience as I have worked on assigning parts. Our students are incredibly talented and this part is extremely hard for me. I wish I could give all of them a lead role.

Middle and High school choir are also working on special's for chapel. We are very excited to sing our military melody in November. Honoring our service members is near and dear to my heart. I can't wait for you to hear them perform!! November 8th at 8:20 a.m.  Please invite all military veterans or those who are currently serving. We will begin our Christmas rehearsal's on Monday. Our class time will be spent singing away from now until Christmas break.

7th Grade Bible

We will end the quarter with Moses' life.  Each of us have been amazed to see how the Lord still uses us today just as He used Moses.  Our in class projects have helped to understand our Bible verses deeper.  The heart of our students have a desire to know God. I have greatly enjoyed getting to know this group of kids. My favorite part of our day is when we circle up to discuss God's word. Our young people are curious to know about what God says and how to defend their faith. It is an honor and a blessing to lead them. ❤

Aftercare

For the next few weeks there will be no sports games. This means parking in the evenings should not be an issue. YAY!!  I am working on scheduling special activities between now and Christmas. Art By V will be coming to paint with our kids in the next couple of weeks. She is amazing and we can't wait for your kids to do art with her.
