Praising the Lord in All Circumstances

Good Afternoon Parents!

I hope that you each have had a wonderful week. It's been quite the week here on campus. I am so humbled and blessed to see the Lord at work on our campus and in our students.  We have made some changes in both elementary and secondary chapel. Our hope and prayer is that our students will see Jesus in a new light. May we never become stagnant or stale in sharing Jesus with them.

Elementary:
Today we started something new! We will now start our week on Mondays with worship in the hall. We will then end it on Friday with worship in the hall. It was PRECIOUS hearing our halls ring with little voices singing to out to God!!! WOW !!!!!  Join us in praying for the Holy Spirit to usher His presence into our halls and classrooms.

Middle/High Choir:

We are still plugging along in our music theory unit. We have been learning how music connects us together emotionally, spiritually and mentally. For every emotion there is an emotion for that! Music goes back to the very beginning of time. Each student has chosen a song that represents them. It has been fun to learn this about them.

I will be holding auditions for a Praise Team for Chapel. This is open to all secondary students. If your student plays an instrument, sings or acts, I invite them to come and audition. They must come prepared with a piece to sing or perform if they are playing an instrument.

Aftercare:

It was a hard week being indoors with all the rain, but we have enjoyed the dry, warm weather the last couple of days. As it turns cold again please send your student with the proper outdoor attire. We DO play outside when it is cold.  Please send hats, gloves, coats, ect. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

I will sing of your love and justice; to you LORD, I will sing PRAISE!! Psalm 101:1
