Good Afternoon! What a great week we have had on campus! God is moving! This is such an exciting time for LCS!! We have basketball teams that have made it to states, buzz about spring sports, FUN RUN, and most importantly Jesus changing lives!!! I encourage you to ask your kids what God is doing in their lives and on campus!
Elementary Music
We have been learning new worship songs. It is SO beautiful to hear these little ones lift their voices to Jesus. We are starting our week on Monday mornings with praise, worship and prayer in the hall. We end the week the same way on Friday.
In the classroom we have been learning all about keeping a beat and rhythm using Boom Whackers. The kids are having a great time!!
Middle School Choir
We just finished our unit on music theory. I have some happy kiddo's now that we are back into singing. We have started to get familiar with our spring music. We will be performing a melody from the Greatest Showman!! The students and I are VERY excited!!! Mrs. Williams just might have to sing with them! LOL
7th Grade Bible
Let's start with a HUGE shout out to these two classes!! EVERY SINGLE STUDENT has memorized Psalm 116!! YES! THE ENTIRE CHAPTER!!!! My heart is overflowing!!!! Tyler Berndt and Jared Alderson will be reciting the chapter in chapel next week. We are still going through the old testament. We are currently studying the life of Solomon. There is so much wisdom from this man that we are going to spend a couple of weeks on him. Join me in praying for our students to have open hearts to receive some of this wisdom and learn how they can apply it to their life.
