Almost Accomplished

 Good Afternoon!

I hope that this week has been wonderful for you! I am SO thankful for Friday! It has been a great week in Bible. We are still learning some fundamental concepts and vocabulary as we lay the ground work until everyone's books arrive. Until then each class has now been set up on Microsoft Teams. This is where I will upload scans of their books and assignments.  We will also continue to use Teams the remainder of the year for assignments. Parents you can grab your students IPAD and click on teams to see what has been assigned. If your student is out sick or for an appointment this is where they would look for that day's assignment. I will also upload any notes that were given in class. I am really enjoying the technology that we have. I am grateful that it will help each student in their studies.

Thank you for your continued patience as we tackle the books being on backorder. Right now it seems to be all of 6th grade who are the most affected. In the meantime we will do the best with what we have.

Pastor Flood taught an amazing lesson on the difference exalting the Lord and exalting the world. I encourage you to ask your kids to share what they are learning in chapel and to read the scriptures together. This week Pastor Flood read from Matthew 4:18-22, Ephesians 2:3-10.  Discuss as a family how you each are exalting Christ.  We all fall short of this at times.  Pastor Kyle asked two questions:

1. What is wrong with the world? SIN

2. How do we fix it? ONLY WITH JESUS!

Pastor Flood then left us with three challenges and I challenge you to join us.

1. Be someone who wants to bring good change.

2. Reflect on the message of the Gospel.

3. Focus on Christ so much that we are known as a school, community and body of believers known for living for Him.

"Within these walls (of our school and your home) change is happening!"

I hope you have an amazing week!

Blessings

Nancy Williams
